\n My message to the many jazz fans and my friends there is, to please know that you are extremely important to me and to the jazz world in general. Without the support,passion, vast knowledge and intelligence of our Japanese audience, the jazz scene would be forever diminished in importance. You are all deep in our thoughts through this time of extreme hardship.
